Diet, Vitamins, and COVID-19

This started out as a post about Vitamin D. The sun was out and it made a nice segue to recent conversations about Vitamin D and COVID-19. Unfortunately, by the time I sat down to write this, the clouds moved in and my moment was lost.
Regardless of how tired we are of being told to wash our hands, social distance, etc., no matter if we've reached our threshold of puppies, babies (unless you know them, of course), virtual happy hours, and Netflix, we are on high alert.
Wear a mask? Not wear a mask? Maybe wear a bandana? The guidance changes. Is there anything we can do to protect ourselves? As integrative medical professionals, we believe that an intelligent proactive approach to wellness can help us stay healthy. Can we guarantee that you will not get sick? And yes-- you still have to be kind, wash your hands, social distance, sleep enough, eat well and don't touch your face.
